Debunk claim:

UNGA Resolution 68/262, which condemned Russia’s illegal actions in Ukraine, was supported by 100 United Nations member states. Only 10 states opposed it. http://www.securitycouncilreport.org/atf/cf/%7B65BFCF9B-6D27-4E9C-8CD3-CF6E4FF96FF9%7D/a_res_68_262.pdf. Any decision relating to Ukraine’s sovereignty or sovereign choices can only be taken without undue external pressure. The so-called referendum in Crimea was organised in a matter of weeks by a self-proclaimed Crimean leadership lacking democratic legitimacy and installed by armed Russian military personnel following the seizure of public buildings. The EU does not recognise it.
